Closing in on a Nisaba Public Release

Nisaba’s code structure has changed drastically over the past few months, and I consider it almost ready for a public release. The initial release will not include Gnip support, as Gnip just released a new API for testing, and I want to get a solid product out for the first release.

Hi I stumbled across your blog and now Google code page today, and I’m excited by what i’ve read so far, i’d love to be in on any beta if possible.

What I’d like is control over output more than anything. I run a site http://thoroughbredbloggersalliance.blogspot.com/ and what I’d like to do is mash everything up but format it so people know what they are looking at. Not sure if this is helpful or hurtful so just putting it out there. what I want:

I’d like to be able to add a feed from anywhere and then be given options like preview Y or N, how long preview _(words), include (03) images if available, include this image everytime (url image or from harddrive) for this feed.

2.0 would be able to set up profiles, where I label a user and under that profile include links from blogs, twitter, flickr etc, and have 1 stock image and within that profile it sorts out links. Meaning if that user posts a blog entry at X address and then puts up a tweet w X address in it the Tweet won’t show up in my feed cause it’s redundant.

Anyways, i’m curious if you think your project will help me, and again would love to be in on a beta patrickjpatten@yahoo.com
